Michigan Community Chooses Tonka Water

Tonka Water was recently selected as the manufacturer for a water treatment project in Elk Rapids, Michigan. A fully skidded isolated cell horizontal pressure filter system with Tonka Water IMAR™ media will be provided for the removal of iron. This unique system features Tonka Water's Simul-Wash™ backwash system that will save millions of gallons of waste washwater over the lifetime of the plant. The state-of-the-art isolated cell design affords an efficient footprint while also offering operational flexibility by allowing the operator to isolate individual cells within the vessel allowing for backwash or the ability to take a cell off-line while continuing to treat water in the other cells, all the while keeping the plant operating at full capacity.

Louisiana Community Chooses Tonka Water

Tonka Water has recently been chosen to provide treatment equipment for a horizontal pressure filter plant in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. This fully skidded system will remove iron and manganese from the community water supply. Tonka Water's Simul-Wash™ backwash system is also incorporated to provide optimal media cleansing and save thousands of gallons of waste washwater with each backwash.

Tonka Water Selected to Provide Nanofiltration System in Miamisburg, OH

Tonka Water has been chosen to provide a nanofiltration (NF) membrane water treatment system for Miamisburg, Ohio. Tonka Water worked closely with the engineer to meet the client’s site-specific needs and operational requirements. NF offers increased efficiency and no concentrated brine waste compared to other softening processes such as traditional ion exchange and lime softening technology. With a flow rate of 3,760gpm the plant will receive fully assembled, plug and play system skids, making installation simple and straight forward.

Skid Mounted Horizontal Pressure Filter System to be provided by Tonka Water

Tonka Water has been selected to provide a water treatment system in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. The skid mounted system will treat iron and manganese using Tonka Water's space efficient horizontal pressure filters. This system will also include Tonka Water's Simul-Wash™, saving thousands of gallons in backwash waste with every backwash cycle.
