Tonka Water Selected to Provide Advanced Ion Exchange Pur-IX™ System in Nebraska

Tonka Water's innovative Ion Exchange Pur-IX™ system was recently selected for nitrate removal at Bayard, NE. Utilizing unique multiport valve technology and 20 separate vessels between two skids, the system provides low-flow continuous regeneration, consistent water quality and the smallest volume waste stream available on the market. Pur-IX™ is an ideal application for limited footprint operations, and offers significant savings on life cycle costs. The total system flow rate at Bayard is designed to treat for nitrates at 925gpm. This system was purchased directly by the city after a life cycle analysis, and a confirming pilot study is currently in progress.

Tonka Water Commissions its innovative salt-saving Nitrate Pur-IX™ System in IL

Tonka Water’s salt-saving Pur-IX™ ion exchange treatment system was recently commissioned at a private water utility in Illinois. This unique system takes advantage of an advanced valve design and multiple vessels to provide continuous regeneration, and is an ideal solution to reduce waste and boost efficiency in all ion exchange applications.

Tonka Water awarded Pur-IX™ system in Illinois

Tonka Water has received a contract to provide water treatment plant improvements for the Sangamon Valley Public Water District in Illinois. The system includes two Dualator® III package units with aeration, detention and filtration followed by Tonka Water’s continuous ion exchange system, Pur-IX™.  The revolutionary Pur-IX™ system reduces salt usage and decreases waste volume.
