Tonka Water Awarded Contract for Water Treatment Plant in New Providence, BS

Tonka Water has been awarded a project to furnish a calcite contactor for the municipality of New Providence, Bahamas. This horizontal pressure vessel features an isolated cell design, an equipment option that affords operational flexibility with a compact, efficient footprint.  Isolating individual cells within the vessel allows a plant operator to backwash or take a cell off-line while continuing to treat water in the other cells, all the while keeping the plant operating at capacity. Once completed, the system will increase the stability of the water through calcite remineralization.

Tonka Water to Provide Isolated Cell Calcite System in North Carolina

Tonka Water was awarded a purchase order for Craven County, North Carolina to furnish a calcite remineralization process for a new water treatment plant. The system will feature isolated cell horizontal pressure filters designed for a flow rate of 2083 gallons per minute.
