Tonka Water is pleased to announce a
new water treatment plant in St. Martin, Minnesota. This system will include Tonka
Water’s unique biological treatment process for the treatment of iron and ammonia;
with a final-stage GreensandPlus™ filter for manganese removal. This system
integrates both biological and conventional treatment methods providing an
optimized and robust solution for ammonia-laden groundwater. In addition, Tonka
Water’s Simul-Wash™ backwash process is included, allowing for improved
cleaning, minimizing both filter head loss and water use over the life of the
facility.
