Tonka Water was recently
selected as the manufacturer for a water treatment project in New Madrid,
Missouri. The system includes an induced draft aerator and isolated cell
horizontal pressure filters for the removal of iron. This unique system
features Tonka Water’s Simul-Wash™ backwash process that will save millions of
gallons of backwash waste water over the
lifetime of the plant. The state-of-the-art isolated cell design offers flexibility by allowing the operator to isolate
individual cells while adjacent cells remain in service, making it the most
efficient footprint available in the industry.
