Tonka Water has been chosen to provide
equipment for a horizontal pressure filter system expansion in Adamsville, TN.
The horizontal pressure filters utilize Tonka Water Iron-Man™ media to treat
iron and manganese from the community well supply and incorporates customized
controls to ensure consistency in operation. The project doubles the rated
plant capacity from 800 gpm to 1600 gpm, and incorporates Tonka Water’s
Simul-Wash™ innovative backwash process saving thousands of gallons of backwash
waste water with each backwash cycle.
