Tonka Water Selected to Provide Water Treatment Equipment in Spring Grove, MN

Tonka Water is pleased to announce a new project in Spring Grove, Minnesota. At this facility, Tonka Water furnished a 32’ high VOC stripping tower specially designed for trichloroethylene removal from the city’s groundwater source.

Pressure Filtration System to be provided by Tonka Water

Tonka Water has been selected to provide a water treatment system in German Valley, Illinois. This customized system will include vertical pressure filters with IMAR™ filter media and the unique Tonka Water hydrous manganese oxide (HMO) feed system. The feed system includes TonkaBlend™ to consistently and effectively feed TonkaZorb™, a preformed HMO solution for radium absorption. The system also features Tonka Water’s Simul-Wash™ backwash process, saving thousands of gallons of waste washwater with each backwash cycle.

Tonka Water Chosen for Renovation of Water Treatment System

Tonka Water has been chosen for the refurbishment of an existing water treatment system in Rio Hondo, Texas. The existing concrete system provides flocculation, tube settler sedimentation, and granular media filtration. As a part of this project, new customized Tonka Water paddle-wheel flocculators will be supplied, and the sedimentation basin will be fitted with new, efficient tube settlers, and the innovative MechVac™ mechanical sludge removal system.  Also included will be the addition of a third filter cell, and the two existing filter cells will be refurbished to match, incorporating Tonka Water’s Simul-Wash™ backwash process, BLEU™ stainless steel underdrains and engineered media.

Tonka Water Provides an Aeration System to the community of Buffalo Island, Arkansas

Tonka Water was recently selected to provide a groundwater aeration system for the Buffalo Island community in Monette, AR. Tonka Water’s unique induced draft aerator features an innovative hinged access door, and treats a plant water flow of 1000 gallons per minute.
